Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mop are getting more efficient. They pass our cleaning tests, and are able to handle various floors. Find models that allow you to choose from multiple modes, use their charging docks to automatically empty and clean the stairs.
helpful resources of the top models integrate with your smartphone. Look for an application that lets you save schedules, maps and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate, and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set schedules and customize the behavior of the S1.
When I tried the S1, it was quick to map our downstairs, which is home to Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, plus carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was able to drive close to walls and even cross raised thresholds without any problems. However, it had some difficulty getting down the stairs in one go. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and swung up when it came to carpets or rugs.
The docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated waters prior to each mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 mopping sessions, however this will vary dependent on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure that it's operating efficiently. For this, you'll need to rinse out the water tank that is dirty regularly to prevent it from clogging. You will also need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to avoid them getting blocked by dirt or dust. However, overall, the S1 is easy to maintain, particularly compared to other models that require more hands-on maintenance.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a great choice for cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum comes with 8,700Pa suction power and comes with many innovative features including voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and eliminates obstacles. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of just moving a pad across the surface. Mops can also be dried and cleaned at the base station when required.
The robot comes with an easy interface that guides you through the process. It includes a hand vacuum that recharges to reach those areas the robot isn't able to reach and two water tanks that are automatically empty and refilled as needed. It also comes with a variety of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a great vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction that can effortlessly remove dirt and other debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are quite good, though it can be stuck on small area mats and rugs in my home (which you can mitigate by creating virtual boundaries in the app). The mopping capabilities are quite excellent, too, with a pair of spin mop heads that actually lift and scrub floors instead of simply dragging the pad over it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station as required. The mops are also refilled at the top of the station as required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. However, their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the top robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush ensure an efficient, customized clean.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It works equally well on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned our test's most soiled areas efficiently, while eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other mess. The sweeping performance is augmented by a side brush that extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, as well as an extended mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is intelligent that can navigate tiny spaces and negotiating stairs without missing a step. It can move from one room to the next without needing to reverse the direction. This is a great feature for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than the ones of other competitors and leaves a wide margin around obstacles. This can result in missing spots.
Its app has a streamlined, intuitive interface that should be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also alter the suction power, mop settings, and view 2D and 3-D maps. You can control it via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You will require a reliable internet connection to access the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
Robot vacuums are great at removing dirt and debris but they're not able to get every speck of dust. This is why it's crucial to use your regular vacuum once a week, especially to pick up dust in corners and on shelves and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot that was designed to accomplish exactly that. It is simple to connect to your home WiFI network and it works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the company's expensive S-series models, which include the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but it saves cost by removing mopping functions and using a less expensive plastic body.
The Q5 remains one of the most powerful mopping and vacuums we've seen in this price range, despite not being able to wipe your floor. It has a suction power of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system so you don't need to empty the bin manually every time. It comes with a smart app that lets you schedule cleaning and choose the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling and washing system to allow hands-free operation.
Its mops also impress with their 2700Pa capacity to combat pet hair and dirt on carpets as well as hard flooring. The Q5 is one of the few robots we test that didn't have issues with high-pile carpets or area carpets, but it didn't clean up cables or kitty litter that's not a surprise considering it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robotic vacuum we've ever tested. It also uses an innovative mapping system that lets it reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums are unable to. This device also stores dust in a bigger dustbin that means you have to empty it less often. Additionally, it has washable filters, which reduces the costs associated with using the device. The robot is able to detect carpets, and boost suction if needed. You can also mark off areas you want to keep out of the app.
